Simple step test could speed up lung rehab for COPD patients

NCT ID NCT04008615

Summary

This study compared two different exercise tests for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Researchers wanted to see if a simpler 6-minute stepping test could provide similar information to a more complex lab-based cycling test. The goal was to find a faster, more accessible way to assess patients and help create personalized rehabilitation plans.
