New device measures hidden lung damage in COPD patients
NCT ID NCT07185581
Summary
This study tested a special breathing device to see how well it could measure lung function in people experiencing a COPD flare-up. Researchers followed 41 patients, measuring their breathing during the flare-up and again 6-12 weeks later during recovery. The goal was to see if this device could provide useful information about small airway changes that standard tests might miss.
