Scientists test drug mix for future lung disease treatment

NCT ID NCT06892756

Summary

This early-stage study aimed to understand how a drug called cyclosporine, often used after organ transplants, might affect the body's processing of an experimental medication for COPD (CHF6001). Thirty healthy volunteers took the COPD drug alone and then again after taking cyclosporine, with a break in between. The goal was to measure the drug levels in the blood to see if the combination is safe to study further in patients.
