First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special breathing exercise (threshold inspiratory muscle training) can make the diaphragm thicker and move better in people with stable COPD. Fifteen adults aged 40-59 with moderate COPD will do the training, and doctors will use ultrasound to measure changes. The goal is to see if this exercise can improve breathing muscle function.
