Breathing battle: which technique eases COPD suffering?

NCT ID NCT07402850

Summary

This study compared two different breathing techniques to help people with COPD manage their symptoms. For four weeks, 58 participants tried either a device-based therapy (OPEP) or a self-guided breathing exercise (autogenic drainage). Researchers measured which method was better at improving lung function, clearing mucus, reducing shortness of breath, and enhancing quality of life.
