New device aims to help COPD patients breathe easier after walking

NCT ID NCT06956742

Summary

This study is testing whether a special breathing device can help people with COPD feel less short of breath after physical activity. About 33 adults with moderate to severe COPD will use the device at home for one week and then a dummy device for another week, with walking tests in between. Researchers want to see if the device, which helps clear mucus and trapped air from the lungs, makes a meaningful difference in breathlessness.
