First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looked at whether using a contrast dye during ultrasound, while surgeons operate on liver tumors that spread from colorectal cancer, helps them make better surgical decisions. 68 patients took part. The main goal was to see if the contrast ultrasound changed the planned surgery in a helpful way compared to regular ultrasound alone.
