No injection needed? new MRI aims to spot breast cancer without dye

NCT ID NCT05006196

Summary

This study is testing a new type of MRI scan designed to detect breast disease without needing an injected contrast dye. It aims to provide a better option for women with dense breast tissue, where standard mammograms can miss tumors. Over 1,000 women referred to a breast clinic will have the new scan to see how well it works compared to current standard tests.
