Summary
This study tested a simple idea: giving young women birth control pills along with their contraceptive implant to reduce early removal. 600 participants aged 14-22 who were new implant users either received the extra pills or standard counseling. The goal was to see if the pill 'rescue' plan helped them keep the implant longer.
