First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests a new device called PatenSee that uses light and sound to check the health of the blood vessel access used for dialysis, without touching the skin. About 90 adults with kidney failure on regular dialysis will participate. The goal is to see if the device works as well as the usual hands-on checks by doctors and nurses.
