Contact lens that releases medicine could ease eye swelling

This early study tests a special contact lens that slowly releases steroid medicine directly to the eye. It is for people with recurrent cystoid macular edema, a condition causing swelling in the back of the eye. The goal is to see if the lens is safe, comfortable, and a practical way to deliver treatment. Only 6 adults will participate.
