Scientists probe surprising link between back pain and constipation
NCT ID NCT07344571
Summary
This study aims to find out if there is a connection between long-term constipation and disorders of the sacroiliac joints in the lower back. Researchers will compare 200 adults, half with chronic constipation and half without, by performing specific physical tests on their joints. The goal is to gather knowledge about a possible link, not to test a new treatment.
