Scientists scan young brains to uncover hidden impact of childhood concussions
NCT ID NCT06024122
Summary
This study aims to understand how a concussion before age 6 might affect a child's developing brain. Researchers will use brain scans to compare 30 children who had a concussion with 30 children who had a minor arm or leg injury. The goal is to see if there are differences in brain structure or function that could explain later difficulties some children experience.
