Computer alert trial aims to spot hidden genetic cholesterol risk

Summary
This study is testing whether a computer alert can help doctors identify patients with a genetic form of high cholesterol called Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH). The alert will pop up in the patient's electronic health record during clinic visits. Researchers will compare how often FH is diagnosed before and after the alert system is turned on.
