First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 40 times

Summary

This study tests whether wearing a compression stocking on one foot during chemotherapy can prevent painful nerve damage caused by certain cancer drugs. About 58 adults with advanced cancers will wear a stocking on their left foot only, while the right foot serves as a comparison. Researchers will check for nerve symptoms and quality of life over 24 months to see if the stocking helps.
