First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether wearing compression garments (like tight leggings or abdominal shapewear) during everyday activities can help lower heart rate and reduce symptoms in people with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Researchers will test commercially available waist-high and abdominal compression garments in 30 Canadian adults with POTS. The goal is to see if these garments work outside the lab, in real-world settings.
