First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a custom compression vest (SED CICATREX®) can reduce shoulder pain and improve stability in adults with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. 48 participants wore the vest for 4 weeks, then went without it for 4 weeks. Researchers measured muscle strength, pain levels, and quality of life to see if the garment helps manage symptoms.
