First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether completely avoiding a nasogastric tube (a tube through the nose into the stomach) after pancreatic surgery is as safe and effective as removing it soon after surgery. The goal is to reduce patient discomfort and complications. About 240 adults aged 20–75 with benign or malignant tumors near the pancreas will take part.
