New device offers hope for stem cell transplant patients with poor graft function

Summary

This study provides compassionate access to a special device that selects CD34+ stem cells for patients whose stem cell transplant did not work well. The goal is to improve blood cell recovery and reduce complications like graft-versus-host disease. Up to 200 participants will receive this treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
