Can compassion training cure healthcare burnout?

Summary
This study is testing a new group program designed to help reduce burnout and improve well-being for cancer center staff. 80 employees like nurses and doctors will be randomly assigned to either try the 4-session compassion and mindfulness program or continue with their usual resources. The main goal is to see if the program is practical and acceptable to staff, and to test new ways of measuring team safety and burnout.
