First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looked at whether compassion meditation is a practical option for veterans with PTSD. Researchers enrolled 113 veterans across multiple sites to see if they would try the meditation, stick with it, and find it helpful. The goal was to test if a larger study is possible, not to prove the meditation cures PTSD.
