New ventilator put to the test for safer patient transport
NCT ID NCT07198269
Summary
This study aims to compare a new emergency transport ventilator to a standard one to see if it keeps oxygen levels just as stable when moving patients who are on breathing machines. Researchers will enroll about 98 adults who need to be moved within or between hospitals while on a ventilator. They will randomly assign patients to one of the two ventilator models and carefully measure oxygen levels and other vital signs before and after the move.
