Summary
This study compared two versions of a common weight loss surgery (gastric bypass) that use a special 'wrap' technique on the stomach. Researchers wanted to see which version was better at preventing painful stomach inflammation and ulcers after surgery. They enrolled 200 people with severe obesity to test the two surgical approaches.
