First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares two non-invasive treatments for nerve pain caused by type 2 diabetes: Intraneural Facilitation Therapy (INF) and standard physical therapy. Forty adults aged 45-85 with moderate to severe diabetic neuropathy will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Over six weeks, researchers will measure pain, nerve function, blood flow, and inflammation to understand how each therapy works and which may offer better relief.
