Head-to-Head scan test aims to sharpen prostate cancer detection
NCT ID NCT06604442
Summary
This study directly compared two similar imaging scans (PET scans) in the same patients to see if one was better at finding returning prostate cancer. It involved 55 men whose prostate cancer had returned after surgery, but their PSA blood levels were still very low. The main goal was to measure and compare how much of the imaging tracer showed up in the bladder from each scan type.
