First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study compares two ways to treat stomach blockage caused by cancer: a newer endoscopic procedure (using a scope) and traditional surgery. About 70 adults with advanced cancer who cannot eat normally will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which approach is safer and works better to relieve the blockage and improve quality of life.
