First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compared two types of surgical mesh used to repair vaginal vault prolapse, a condition where the top of the vagina drops down. 106 women having laparoscopic or robotic surgery received either Restorelle® Y mesh or Vertessa® Lite Y mesh. The main goal was to see if one mesh was better at preventing prolapse from coming back within 6 months, and to compare complication rates.
