New laser eye surgery technique aims for smoother recovery

NCT ID NCT07203976

Summary

This study compares two methods of laser eye surgery (PRK) used to correct nearsightedness and astigmatism. It looks at 100 patients to see if a newer, single-step laser technique (StreamLight) leads to better vision and faster healing with less pain compared to the traditional manual method. The goal is to understand which approach provides the best visual results for people seeking to reduce their dependence on glasses or contacts.
