New vs. old knee implant: which lasts longer?
NCT ID NCT03548792
Summary
This study aims to compare a newer knee replacement implant (Persona) with a well-established older model (NexGen) in patients with severe knee arthritis. Researchers will track 185 patients for up to 10 years to see which implant provides better stability, function, and satisfaction. They will use special scans to measure tiny movements of the implant and surveys to assess pain and mobility.
