Diabetes study tests which insulin schedule works better
NCT ID NCT05417841
Summary
This study compared two different insulin injection schedules to see which one better controls blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. Over 200 adults already using insulin tried either two daily injections of a combined insulin or one injection of that insulin plus two extra fast-acting insulin shots. The main goal was to see which schedule lowered a key long-term blood sugar marker (HbA1c) more effectively and safely over 16 weeks.
