New insulin concentration put to the test

NCT ID NCT03903016

Summary

This study aimed to see if a new, more concentrated version of insulin lispro (200 units/ml) works the same in the body as the standard version (100 units/ml). It involved 90 adults with type 1 diabetes who received a single dose of each insulin in a random order. Researchers used a precise method to measure how the body absorbed and responded to each insulin to check if they were equivalent.
