New drug combo aims to outperform standard care in Hard-to-Treat myeloma

Summary

This study tests a new three-drug combination (selinexor, pomalidomide, and dexamethasone) against another standard combination (elotuzumab, pomalidomide, and dexamethasone) in 117 adults with multiple myeloma that has come back or stopped responding to prior treatments. Participants must have had 1 to 4 prior therapies. The goal is to see which combo delays cancer growth longer and improves quality of life.
