NCT ID NCT07338422

First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two first-line treatments for severe aplastic anemia, a condition where the bone marrow fails to produce enough blood cells. It will involve 116 patients aged 14-70 who lack a fully matched donor. One group receives a stem cell transplant from a half-matched family donor, while the other gets strong immune-suppressing drugs. The goal is to see which approach leads to better survival and recovery without treatment failure.
