Summary
This study looked at 60 people aged 16-22 who needed braces and had a premolar removed. Researchers compared two methods to speed up moving a canine tooth: injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or a minor surgical procedure called decortication. They used 3D scans to measure bone gaps (dehiscence and fenestration) before and after treatment. The goal was to see which method causes less bone loss around the tooth root.
