First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests two different medicines placed inside the tooth after a second root canal treatment to see which one helps the bone around the tooth heal better. About 60 adults with an infected tooth that had a previous root canal will be randomly assigned to receive either calcium hydroxide or diclofenac sodium. The healing will be checked with X-rays after 12 months.
