Sweat swap: can a smaller surgery prevent a sweaty side effect?
NCT ID NCT07196319
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at two types of surgery for people with severe hand or underarm sweating. The goal is to see if operating on one nerve (T3) instead of two (T3-4) can lower the chance of developing heavy sweating in other body areas after surgery. About 46 participants aged 6 and older will be followed to compare which approach causes less compensatory sweating.
