Study tests if new surgical gas system reduces pain after weight loss surgery
NCT ID NCT07313930
Summary
This study aims to see if one type of medical gas device (CONMED AirSeal®) causes less pain after surgery than another (Lexicon) when used during laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, a common weight loss surgery. Researchers will measure pain levels in 74 adults after their operation. The goal is to find out which device helps patients recover with less discomfort.
