First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looks at two ways to help people with advanced cancer who have a blockage in their stomach that prevents them from eating normally. One method uses a metal tube (stent) placed through a scope, and the other uses a newer scope-guided technique to create a new passage. The goal is to see which approach works better, allows patients to eat sooner, and improves their quality of life. About 200 adults with this condition will take part.
