Back surgery cage showdown: which material fuses better?
NCT ID NCT06904898
Summary
This study compares two types of cages used in a common, minimally invasive back surgery called DLIF. Researchers want to see if a newer titanium cage works as well as the standard plastic cage, which requires an added bone-growth protein. The goal is to find the best option to help patients' spines heal solidly after surgery for degenerative lower back disease.
