Better arthritis diagnosis: which scan works best for foot pain?

NCT ID NCT05912153

Summary

This study aims to determine which type of medical imaging—SPECT-CT or MRI—is better at diagnosing painful osteoarthritis in the foot and ankle. Researchers will compare both scans in 132 adults with persistent foot pain to see which provides more accurate results. The goal is to help doctors choose the best test to identify the source of arthritis pain and guide treatment decisions.
