Summary
This pilot study looked at three different ways to manage pain and sedation in adults on breathing machines in the ICU. The goal was to see if these approaches were practical and could help reduce time on the ventilator. The study included 90 participants and focused on how well the protocols were followed and how long patients stayed in the ICU.
