First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 26, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at two techniques used to safely put children under anesthesia for urgent surgery when they have a full stomach. One method uses no breathing help until the tube is in, while the other uses gentle air pressure to keep oxygen levels up. The goal is to find out which approach causes fewer breathing or heart problems in children under 14.
