First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special gum surgery, called PAOO, can help move molars (back teeth) faster and with less pain during orthodontic treatment. About 40 adults will be randomly assigned to get braces alone or braces plus the surgery. The main goal is to see how much the teeth move and how comfortable patients feel.
