Summary
This study tested two different nerve block techniques to reduce pain after laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. 90 adults were randomly assigned to receive either a modified thoracoabdominal nerve block or an oblique subcostal TAP block. Researchers measured pain scores and how much pain medication patients needed in the first 24 hours after surgery.
