Summary

This study compares two types of ultrasound-guided nerve blocks to control pain after open inguinal hernia repair in adults. The goal is to see which method reduces the need for opioid painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery. Sixty-six adults aged 18 to 75 will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks, and their pain levels and recovery will be tracked.
