New study aims to find best pain block after mastectomy

Summary

This study compares two nerve block techniques for pain after breast removal surgery (mastectomy). One block is placed under a chest muscle, the other combines both under and over the muscle. The goal is to see which provides better pain relief and reduces the need for opioid painkillers. Sixty adults undergoing mastectomy will be enrolled.
