New study tests better way to burn away neck pain

Summary

This study compares two ways of using radiofrequency (heat) to treat chronic neck pain caused by arthritis in the small joints of the spine. The goal is to see which needle placement works better and lasts longer. About 72 adults with moderate to severe neck pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques and followed for a year.
