First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new type of ultrasound (microUS) is as good as MRI for finding prostate cancer. About 1,284 men aged 50-70 with elevated PSA will be randomly assigned to get either a microUS or an MRI. The goal is to see which method better detects serious prostate cancers that need a biopsy.
