First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study compared two different machines that measure how well the lungs transfer nitric oxide and carbon monoxide. Nine adults with systemic sclerosis and related lung disease took both tests in random order. The goal was to see if the devices give the same results in people with damaged lungs, which could affect how doctors monitor the disease.
