Which prenatal iron is best? new study aims to find out

Summary
This study will test two different forms of iron in prenatal supplements to see which one improves iron levels better and causes fewer side effects. About 172 healthy pregnant women in Vancouver will take one of the two iron types daily until delivery. Researchers will measure iron stores in blood and check gut health to help guide better supplement recommendations for moms and babies.
